A rail infrastructure manager (RIM) of a private siding must apply to ONRSR to register a private siding. The private siding must be connected with (or have access to) a railway of an accredited person or another siding.

The RIM of a private siding is to be the party registered. Accredited rail infrastructure managers cannot also be registered as a manager of a private siding. 

To apply for registration of a private siding as a RIM you must submit an Application for Registration Form. This form should be submitted to ONRSR with attached supporting documentation where required.
