ONRSR’s Rail Safety Report provides a national perspective of rail safety performance through the last financial year.
The 2021–2022 Rail Safety Report provides an overview of rail industry safety performance in terms of safety statistics following review and analysis of incident and notifiable occurrence reporting and intelligence gathered through regulatory activities. One of ONRSR's ongoing functions is to work with individual rail transport operators on issues that pertain specifically to them. We will, however, highlight specific examples of incidents where they demonstrate issues considered relevant to the wider industry.
