At ONRSR, five values guide who we are and how we go about our work.
These values play a key role in how we show up and perform our work every day and provides the foundation of our Culture Blueprint as well as supporting our Code of Conduct.

ONRSR is committed to fostering a workplace where diversity is valued, equity is embedded in our systems and decisions, and inclusion is experienced by everyone. We value diversity in all its forms including but not limited to differences in background, experience, culture, gender, age, ability, perspectives and ways of thinking.
ONRSR recognises that a diverse workforce strengthens our capability by bringing together different perspectives, experiences, and skills. We continue to implement a range of initiatives to support an inclusive environment.
As part of our commitment to advancing gender equity within our organisation and fostering a more inclusive rail industry, ONRSR was one of the first signatories to the Australasian Railway Association’s Rail Gender Equity Charter.
We are putting this commitment into practice through fair and inclusive recruitment, equitable access to career development and leadership opportunities, flexible work arrangements, inclusive leadership and a culture where people feel respected, valued and safe to contribute. We also use workforce, remuneration and employee engagement data to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
