ONRSR has been progressing the development of a national cost recovery model based on risk and regulatory effort, on behalf of Transport and Infrastructure Ministers. This model represents a significant shift from current cost recovery arrangements.
ONRSR has released a consultation paper on the proposed cost recovery model and we are seeking your feedback. The consultation paper reflects input received from industry consultation over the recent months, including videoconference sessions with Chief Executives; face-to-face workshops in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney; and videoconference information sessions for those operators for whom we were unable to hold face-to-face workshops.

Consultation is open from Monday 21 December 2020 to Friday 29 January 2021. Feedback should be provided via email to contact@onrsr.com.au before the closing time of 5pm (ACST) Friday 29 January 2021. Submissions received by the closing time will inform recommendations to be progressed to Transport and Infrastructure Ministers.
