Rail transport operators have mandatory reporting obligations including:

• Notification of notifiable occurrences and other prescribed incidents
• Monthly activity reporting (Monthly returns)
• Annual safety performance reporting (accredited operators)
• Annual activity statements (registered rail infrastructure managers of private siding/s).
